About the Femmes d’Affaires en Mouvement (FAM) group:
The Femmes d’Affaires en Mouvement (FAM) group, founded by the SDECB in 2002, is a dynamic community that addresses French-speaking and bilingual women entrepreneurs in British Columbia. Its goal is to support women entrepreneurs in achieving their ambitions and helping them overcome common challenges such as access to funding, markets, discrimination, or work-life balance.
Through monthly meetings, FAM offers a privileged framework for exchanging with other women entrepreneurs and participating in workshops led by experts on essential topics such as financial management, marketing, communication, and time management. These meetings allow for the development of key skills while fostering networking and mutual support to encourage perseverance and success in business.
